FAQ

TOKI Bridge App Features

What is a liquidity provider?

Liquidity providers are individuals or entities that deposit funds into TOKI's single-sided unified liquidity pool. By participating, you can earn superior APYs, which include a share of TOKI Fees, Pool Rewards, and TOKI token rewards. Additionally, you benefit from minimal risk, thanks to the Multi-Prover Security in IBC by design. For more details, please refer to the User Benefits page.

Why does the transaction take a long time?
  • As a cross-chain infrastructure, we prioritize security and integrity above all else. To protect liquidity providers' funds, we always wait for the finality of each source blockchain.

    • This means transactions starting from Ethereum take about 12 minutes or longer, while other paths will be completed in just seconds.

    • Please check the following page for more detailed features regarding TOKI.

  • Please note that the displayed times are estimates.

Why is the gas fee so high?

The high gas fees are not caused by TOKI itself, but are often due to increasing gas prices.

Why does the transaction history not apper?

As the transaction history is stored in the default IndexedDB of each browser, it may not appear as expected under certain conditions.

  • If you clear the browser’s IndexedDB storage, the transaction history will be deleted.

  • Transactions executed without the TOKI front-end will not be recorded in the transaction history

  • Transaction history will not be displayed if any of the following conditions apply:

    • You use the same wallet address on a different browser.

    • You use the same wallet address and browser but with a different account.

    • You use the same wallet address and browser but with different properties

Gas cost is a big concern for most users. Even though TOKI’s gas cost is already competitive, will there be any gas cost improvement, even though fees are already competitive?

Absolutely! As always, we are working on improving on all fronts without compromising our values and focus on security. TOKI already has very low costs for our security level, but we plan on lowering it even more, for example, in smaller transactions.

Testnet

Why did the "Approve" and "Transfer" transactions fail?

Transaction failures can happen for various reasons. Here are some steps to help resolve them:

  • Check your wallet balance:

    • Ensure you have enough funds for gas fees. Typically, you’ll need: 0.033 TBNB (for transfers from BSC to ETH) and 0.001 Sepolia ETH (for transfers from ETH to BSC)

  • Use MetaMask Wallet:

    • If you’re not already using MetaMask, switch to it.

    • If you are, try reconnecting your wallet to refresh the connection.

  • Verify the RPC URL:

  • Report the issue if unresolved:

    • If the problem persists, create a ticket in the #testnet-bug-report channel on our Discord for further assistance.

Why is the gas fee so high?
Why does the transaction show as 'Failed' on MetaMask when it has actually succeeded?
  • This might be related to the RPC URL you are using.

    • To ensure everything is working correctly, check the status of the RPC URL. (HOW?)

How to verify the RPC URL ?
Why did the faucet fail?

Faucet failures can happen for several reasons. Try these steps to resolve the issue:

  • Use MetaMask Wallet:

    • If you’re not already using MetaMask, switch to it. If you’re already using MetaMask, try reconnecting your wallet to refresh the connection.

  • Check the RPC URL:

  • Still not working?

    • If the issue persists, create a ticket in the #testnet-bug-report channel on our Discord for further assistance.

Will Testnet end once Beta Mainnet starts?

Testnet will keep going throughout 2025 at least, since all the new features and networks will go into testnet first before being publicly released.

Airdrop and Point Program

Is there a particular way to view the points earned?

There will be a leaderboard visual once the program is launched.

How many seasons are there, and what is the time frame for each?

We can’t share the number of seasons or their time frames just yet, but we’ll make announcements when the time is right.

How do the seasons work? When does one season start and another begins?

It’ll all be communicated very clearly to the community. One season will start right after the previous one. Season 1 will still last until Major Mainnet. And each season will last a few months or more. So, there will be enough time to gather points. Remember: the program structure benefits long-term adopters and newcomers. This format is still somewhat flexible and might be adapted along the way. However, all updates will be clearly communicated.

Is there a cap for the total points distributed?

There is no cap for points distributed.
