IBC Channel Upgrades
When upgrading the TOKI bridge contracts for some reason, such as a light client upgrade, fully incompatible feature add, etc, the IBC channel upgrades process may be required. During this time, usually a couple of hours, the TOKI Foundation will temporarily pause the TOKI app to ensure that all in-flight packets are properly completed before executing the IBC channel upgrade.
Potential Risk: While we will handle all packet completions on our end, transactions initiated through third-party applications may encounter unexpected errors that prevent packet completion. In such cases, this could lead to funds loss, as we may not be able to control the packet statuses.
Recommended Action: To minimize risk, we strongly advise users to avoid initiating transactions via third-party applications around the IBC channel upgrade period. Please stay updated with official TOKI announcements regarding the timing of it to ensure the safety of your assets.
